On August 27, surrounding their match with Bethlehem Steel, the Louisville City FC will present the first annual Cancer Awareness Night. A portion of every ticket purchased using the promo code “Cancer2016” will be donated back to 5 local charity partners to support cancer research – one of which is the Colon Cancer Prevention Project! Joining us in fundraising are the Baptist Cancer Center, Kosair Children’s Hospital, Gilda’s Club of Louisville, and the V Foundation for Cancer Research. We are thrilled to participate in this event! To purchase tickets, follow this link!
“We are excited to partner with local charities to help raise awareness and funds to go towards cancer treatment and research” said Amanda Duffy. “As the club works hand in hand with local organizations we hope these efforts can help those affected by cancer escape the day-to-day fight by enjoying the events leading up to Cancer Awareness Night as well as the match itself.”
This is an amazing opportunity to not only support your Louisville City FC, but also to support cancer awareness, prevention, and resources while you do!
We hope you’ll attend the match! We also hope you’ll visit the Healthy Village at the Kicking Butt 5k on August 20, where you can visit the Louisville City FC table!
Will we see you there? To purchase tickets, follow this link and use the “Cancer2016” Promo Code!
