Financial Assistance for Fighters

Fighting Colon Cancer is no easy task. The toll this fight takes on families and individuals can be financial as well as emotional. Fortunately, there are a number of organizations with funds to help you keep up the fight. These include:

  • Fighters’ Fund
    • The Colon Cancer Prevention Project provides a one time donation of $200 to those fighting colon cancer.

  • Colon Cancer Alliance’s Blue Hope Financial Assistance
    • Provides the cost of a screening test or a one-time $300 financial stipend to cover screening related costs or
    •  Provides a $200 stipend to those currently in treatment for treatment related costs

  • CancerCare® Co-Payment Assistance Foundation (CCAF)
    • “CCAF helps people afford the cost of co-payments for chemotherapy and targeted treatment drugs.”

  • Shirley’s Way
    • Shirley’s Way is 501c3 organization that offers finanical assistance to thosee fighting any form of cancer.

    • This organization “provides education and technical assistance to agriculture operators and farm families who face the challenges of a disability.”

  • The Chris4Life Foundation Fund
    • This organization exists to search for a cure for colon cancer. They have a fund for fighters.

  • The Patient Advocate Foundation
    • This organization provides a large number of different financial aid programs.

  • The Health Well Foundation
    • Health Well helps underinsured people with chronic and life-altering illnesses pay for medical expenses.
    • Health Well funds can be used to pay the patient portion of prescription drug copayments, deductibles, and health insurance premiums.

  • Myriad Financial Assistance Program
    • Works to reduce the out of pocket medical testing expenses for underinsured individuals to no more than $100
