Today, we launch our Buddy Program! We’ve been busily passing out pamphlets and jar openers to endoscopy clinics all over Greater Louisville and Southern Indiana, giving patients the tools they need to be a Buddy and knock colon cancer out once and for all.
The program is simple:
- After you finish your colon cancer screening, you’ve just completed the #1 solution to preventing the #2 cancer killer among both men and women. Congratulations! Thank yourself for taking care of your health and future!
- Now, tell at least five people who may not have been screened! Tell them about the importance of early detection and timely screenings! If you’re worried about how to address their excuses, we have plenty of information for you on our Buddy Page.
- Direct your Buddies to our Buddy page, where they can find important information about their many screening options, information about insurance, and tips for how to improve the experience of preparing for a colonoscopy. (Yes, it’s possible!)
- Enter your information on the page and be welcomed into the VIP Buddy Club, which gives you access to perks and prizes!
Bottom line, colon cancer is the 2nd leading cancer killer in the United States among cancers that affect both men and women. It is estimated that 6 out of 10 (60%) deaths from colon cancer could be prevented if everyone were screened at 50.
Be a buddy. Talk to your friends about colon cancer and encourage them to be screened. Together, we can kick colon cancer’s butt.
