Advocacy & Legislative Change
Your support helps power policy that saves lives. This year, we advanced legislation that incorporates age and risk into colorectal cancer screening and ensures patients have access to high-quality, low-volume colonoscopy preparations—critical steps toward early detection and prevention. These efforts culminated in the passage of HB 421 with bipartisan, unanimous support.
Transportation to Screenings
Too many people miss life-saving colonoscopies simply because they cannot get there. Our Colonoscopy Transportation Program removes that barrier by providing safe, reliable rides so no one has to choose between their health and logistics.
Fighters Fund Microgrants
A colorectal cancer diagnosis often brings unexpected financial strain. The Fighters Fund provides emergency microgrants to help individuals in treatment manage daily expenses—allowing them to focus on healing, not hardship.
First Responders Education
Firefighters face a significantly higher risk of colorectal cancer. Through direct outreach to firehouses, we provide cancer-prevention resources, mitigation tools, and screening education to protect those who protect us.
Survivor Support Group
Our monthly survivor support group offers a space for healing—mind, body, and spirit. Survivors continually inspire us with their strength and generosity, giving back to ensure others never face this disease alone.
