Appalachian Colon Cancer Awareness Project 2015

Colon cancer survivor Caleb Payne is on a seven month journey along the oldest mountain range in the world, the Appalachian Mountains.

During his 2,190-mile hike, he is raising awareness and funds to stop colon cancer, the No. 2 cancer killer among men and women. All funds raised will be donated to the Colon Cancer Prevention Project, a non-profit focused on ending colon cancer by increasing screening rates.

Caleb’s journey through 14 states will last from March 15, 2015 to Oct. 7, 2015.
