MAKE A POSTER
* Show your suppport and honor a loved one by making a poster to walk with or to have positioned along the route on race day.

Guidelines
1. Use a standard sized (28”x 22”) poster board of any color.
2. Posters can be displayed either horizontally or vertically. Please note that holes may be punched in the poster to display it.
3. You may have your poster laminated, but it is not required
4. Please turn in your poster to the Colon Cancer Prevention Project office no later than Friday, August 23rd so that volunteers can prepare the posters for display at the Walk!
The office is located in the Clifton Center at 2117 Payne Street, Suite 306, Louisville, KY. You can also bring a poster the day of the walk between 7:30 and 8:15 a.m.
5. Posters will be collected and available for pick-up after the Walk at the Project office starting the week after the walk.

Poster-Making Tips
 * Use words and images to describe your loved one, their accomplishments, hobbies, best qualities, etc. Don’t be afraid to be creative!
 * Consider the message you want to convey, and select words and images that go along with that message.
 * Include pictures of your loved one with family and friends. Make sure to use duplicates, because they may get wet or fall off!
 * If a younger family member or friend likes to draw pictures, consider including a special piece of artwork. Again, duplicates are preferable in case the picture gets damaged.
 * Consider the message you want to convey, and select words and images that go along with that message.
 * If you hand-write on the poster, use a permanent marker so it will not run if it gets wet.
 * Rubber cement, glue, and tape work well to adhere things to the poster. Rubber cement often has a smoother finish than glue and tape.
